| Mr. Tharp joined Electromech Technologies in 2006. After graduating high school Darren worked in the beef packing industry. Upon realizing this wasn't his "dream job", he started attending Dodge City Community College in the evenings where, with much hard work, he attained an Associates degree. Darren worked his way through the ranks and was promoted to Employment Director with National Beef. Determination and perseverance led Darren to continue his education resulting in his attaining a Bachelors degree in Human Resources. That achievement resulted in another promotion to Assistant Director of Human Resources. |
| In an effort to become a part of the aviation industry, Darren worked for over four years with a broker/dealer and repair station as their Human Resources Manager before being recruited by Electromech Technologies. "Throughout my thirteen year career in Human Resources I have experienced just about every facet of HR." |
| Always up for a challenge, 2 years ago Darren assumed responsibility of the aftermarket “Brand X” program. With the “Brand X” program experiencing anticipated growth, Darren took on another challenging role as Director of Aftermarket Customer Service and Planning. Responsibilities which include overseeing the FAA Repair Station and the overhaul technicians. Darren has achieved a successful balance between the Human Resources Department and his newly acquired Aftermarket responsibilities. |
