(a) Supplier intends to provide materials or products to Electromech which have
been identified as nonconforming must be approved by Electromech prior to

(b) Only the Electromech President, Director of Quality or their designees are
authorized to grant this approval. |

(a) Changes to a supplier controlled product design or defined process which could impact the form, fit or function requires approval by Electromech prior to incorporation of the change. |

Suppliers are required to notify Electromech of any significant organizational or facility changes such as company name, location or senior management within two business days. |

(a) Suppliers are required to provide the right of entry for Electromech Technologies personnel, Electromech Technologies customers and regulatory authorities. |

(b) Suppliers are also required to afford Electromech the right to verify supplied product conforms to specified requirements. |

Suppliers are required to flow down to sub-tier suppliers the requirements of Electromech purchasing documents, including key characteristics where required. |
| 3.13 |
(a) Suppliers to Electromech Technologies shall have a Quality System compliant to EN/JISQ/AS9100. |

(b) Preference to registered third party Quality Systems in the Oasis database shall take precedent. |
|
(c) Suppliers to Electromech Technologies not registered to a national/international recognized Quality System may be utilized if written approval by Electromech Technologies Director of Quality and/or President on a case by case basis is documented. |

(a) Suppliers not compliant/certified/registered/accredited are subject to removal from the Electromech Technologies Approved Supplier List. |

(b) Electromech Technologies, at its discretion, may elect to continue a business relationship with the supplier based on the results of an on-site audit of their Quality System and the suppliers’ perseverance to achieve compliance / certification/registration/accreditation. |

(a) Electromech Technologies requires individuals performing inspection, calibration, welding and soldering to have annual eye examinations with records for visual acuity and color vision administered by a medically trained/qualified person. |

(b) Individuals shall have the following vision in at least one eye, either corrected or uncorrected: Near Vision – Snellen 14/18 or better (20/25 or better), Jaegar Type 2 at 14 inches or greater, Ortho-Rater 8 or equivalent. |
|
(c) Color Vision – Must be able to distinguish & differentiate between colors used for which certification is required, process performed or inspection activity. |
|
(d) Testing for color vision is required one time only for each individual. |
|
(e) Soldering personnel must successfully pass a training course administered by trained and accredited individual. |
|
(f) Records of soldering personnel and training personnel must show compliance to a national/international accredited program. |
| 3.16 |
(a) All communication between the supplier and Electromech Technologies shall be in the English language. |
|
(b) In cases where there is a conflict between native languages as well as English language, the English language document shall take precedence. |
| 3.17 |
(a) First Article Inspection Reports shall be provided by the supplier on the first lot of parts received from the supplier and every two years thereafter. |
|
(b) First Article Inspection Reports require the inspection of all design requirements specified by the engineering drawing and reference specifications. |
|
(c) The AS/EN/SJAC 9102 First Article Inspection form shall be utilized to document the first article inspection. |
|
(d) A change affecting fit, form or function requires a new first article to be submitted. |
|
(e) A change in manufacturing sources, processes, inspection methods, numerically controlled program, location of the manufacture, tooling, adverse natural event, adverse man-made event or materials affecting the manufacturing process require a new first article inspection report to be submitted. |
